Following a mysterious absence of several years, the Man of Steel comes back to Earth in the epic Superman Returns. While an old enemy plots to render him powerless once and for all, Superman faces the heartbreaking realizabtion that the woman he loves, Lois Lane, has moved on with her life. Or has she? Superman's bittersweet return challenges him to bridge the distance between them while finding a place in a society that has learned to survive without him. In an attempt to protect the world he loves from cataclysmic destruction, Superman embarks on an epic journey of redemption that takes him from the depths of the ocean to the far reaches of outer space.

This film was really good it was better than I thought that it would be and it had so many twists to it. It was shocking in places as well and there was one thing that really shocked me but I kinda guessed what it was at the beginning of the film. I would recommend this film to anyone who likes Superman it is really good.

Some of the quotes that I liked are:

Lois Lane The world doesn't need a saviour, and neither do I.
Superman Lois, will you fly with me. There's something I want to show you please.
Lois Lane I can't be gone long.
Superman You won't be.
Superman [Flies Lois high above the city] Listen. What do you hear?
Lois Lane Nothing
Superman I hear everything. You wrote that the world doesn't need a saviour, but I hear them crying for one everyday.

Superman [To Jason asleep in his bed] You will be different, sometimes you'll feel like an outcast, but you'll never be alone. You will make my strength your own. You will see my life through your eyes, as your life will be seen through mine. The son becomes the father and the father becomes the son.

Jason White [Yells and waves from his window] Good Night!
Lois Lane [Lois is standing in the front yard thinking about Superman, she is then startled when she hears Jason, she sees Jason waving out to the sky, she then looks at the sky and sees Superman floating right above her] I thought you were? Will I see you around?
Superman I'm always around
[Flies off]

I went to see this yesterday and it was AWESOME! I loved everything about it, even though I was expecting to not like it. Lois/Superman scenes were just the sweetest, and I really hoped they'd end up together at the end.

The quotes you mentioned were all really beautiful scenes. Especially the last one. It made me want to cry.

Oh but the funniest quote:

Kitty Kowalski: Wow, that's really something, Lex.
Lex Luthor: Wait for it.
Kitty Kowalski: Wow, that's really something, Lex. It's freaking Gone with the Wind

How do you guys rate it out of 10?

I thought it was okay, overall I was not that impressed lol, I thought it was a bit cheesy but then should have been expecting it...I thought the acting and the special effects were well done, but I don't know I found it a bit boring in parts...maybe it just doesn't compare to Pirates of the Carribbean - The Dead Man's Chest which I saw recently too, it kind of pales in comparison to that IMO...it did have some funny parts thought that made me laugh...I don't know there was just something about it, that didn't grab me like I thought it would, but good effort!

I really enjoyed the film it was good but like Emma said it didn't really compare to Pirates of the Caribbean- The Dead Man's chest which was brilliant. I would give this film a 8/10.
