View Full Version : 2x17 - "Lockdown"

Silent Noise

When the hatch suddenly takes on a life of its own, Locke is forced to enlist the help of an unlikely ally to control the matter. Meanwhile, Ana Lucia, Sayid and Charlie go off into the jungle to find out the truth about Henry Gale and see if there really is balloon craft out there in the jungle that carried him and his wife to the island.

Very interesting episode!
We found out “Henry” isn’t “Henry” at all! I can’t blame Sayid for digging up “Henrys wife’s grave” he needed to be sure… and it was a good job he did!
And the lock down, what caused that?? “Henry”?? though he did appear to not have a clue what was going on.
And why was there a map was written in the door? And to where??
The biggest shocker was the pallet of supplies! Wow…arriving by parachute, so many questions.

One question though “because Locke knew about the vent shaft in the pantry why did he even try crawling underneath the door?

Because Locke is an idiot sometimes, thats why.

I only caught part of th episode. From when they were trying to lift the door to when Locke see's the writing on the wall and then the next break. So I will have to wait to see the rest, but it did seem like a really interesting episode.

^ totally agree

what was with all that writing? I mean is that going to be another thing that we never find the answer too, like so many other unanswered questions I have

Anyway, on the whole I did think it was a good episode, the lighter bit with Jack and Sawyer playing cards (sawyer always losing to jack :-p)

Whats happening to Charlie? I've been wondering this for a few episodes now, but he's totally changing... and in this one he wasn't very nice, even though it was to ana-lucia and not many people like her... I just think it odd, I want the old charlie back :-p!

I want the old Charlie back too. I don't like this one. This ones crazy! And not in the fun-loving crazy way thats always fun.

Jack and Sawyer playing cards was great. Especially playing for fruit. And Kat'es line:

"Should I get a ruler?"

Ha!

haha I forgot about that line :-p

I can't remember what else happened, thats bad!

It was a Locke Eppie right? I don't understand why Locke would do things for that man who claimed to be his father... I mean he lost everything (except for his share of the money) just because he helped him, personally I would have told the guy where he could stick his money and his schemes :-p!

I know, but he was desperate for a relationship, any relationship, with his father. He had been conned to believe that he was wanted by his Father, not just for a kidney.

Which makes me hate his 'father' even more... but still, would't you find that you'd never want to see this guy again let alone do him a favour if he'd stole one of your body parts?! ok that didn't sound so strange in my head :-p I get that he was desperate for any kind of relationship with his father, but that guy wasn't his father, just some con man who needed something an took it from a desperate guy... you'd think Locke wouldn't obsess so much! I dunno, it's the sort of thing where I can look at it and think that Locke is being stupid, but it would be totally different if you were in the situation!

I want to know what they are going to do that the other they have stuck down the hatch :-p I haven't seen the next episode yet... but after what Sayid did to him a few episodes ago... I kinda feel sorry for the guy, lol!
