2.10 - Much Too Much

[Silent Noise]

Dorie Russell is waiting for quintuplets, all 5 girls. Her husband seems more concerned than she is but she is set to bring her babies to their term of 36 weeks. All the departments are on call for the quintuplets as three of them have developed problems of different kinds. Meredith last night's stand shows up at the hospital with priapism and they need to call Derek Shepherd for a consult which puts Meredith in a very embarrassing position. Alex and Derek must take care of a patient who has a tumor inducing thirst as a side effect. On the love side, Alex and Izzie are having some slight sexual problems, while Meredith goes on adding one night stands and Cristina is thrown off course by being "keyed".


Poor Izzie, she was so into Alex and then he goes and breaks her heart, I thought Alex actually liked her but I’m not to sure now??

I always love the Cristina/Burke scenes, they are always some of the scenes/storylines going off, and the whole key thing was great, and Cristina’s apartment lmao.

And you just knew it would have been Derek, when they needed a neurological[?] consult.

This was the one night stand guy episode :-p haha that was so funny when he turned up at the hospital with his little problem! When Meredith made Cristina do one of the examinations because she really didn't want to :-p and Derek being the one doing the consult...

I'm sure Alex does like Izzie really, it's just as we well know he is a complete jerk sometimes and this time that is was case.

Aw the total difference between Cristina and Burke continues :-p His appartment being immaculately clean and her's being so messy! When she showed Burke her place that was funny, how she doesn't wash anything and therefore buys new underwear and like you said how she hired a maid once and she ran away crying, lol!

I loved watching that scene at Crstina's apartment, I am so much more like Burke, everything has a place. I've seen that in previews and was waiting to watch it in context. Yes they live in vastly different situations but I think it could work. Burke cares enough to make it work, that key thing showed it. Yet again he took the first step but then he stood back and let her catch up.

Alex, god, just as I get over being mad at him he does it again. I know he has his problems. He failed the test and can't tell Izzie and therefore can't relax but that's no excuse for screwing Olivia. Although, it was nice to see Olivia make another appearence. That's a mark of a good show for non-regulars to have recurring parts rather than different cameo's each week.

That multiple pregnancy storyline was heartbreaking. It's so easy for the doctors to say 'kill two of your babies and the rest will be healthier' but it's never that easy, they're all your babies.

I can't believe Alex killed that guy. He is so stupid and the nurse followed his wrong instructions anyway :blink:

Meredith and the broken penis. George is right it does serve her right having comfort sex. Although, it was funny how Izzie and George nicknamed all the men. Derek was so jealous and maybe that's what she really wanted out of it in the end. Some sign that he still felt the same way.

Good episode and it was really nice to see a storyline continue into the next episode. I was so frustrated that we probably wouldn't get to find out about those babies but we did but more about that in the other thread :whistle:
