Feel the love.
I checked my bank account this morning as my mum asked me if I'd been getting my EMA payments. The balance was £100 more than I remembered it as being. Now if that isn't something to :D about then I don't know what is :D :D :D

LOL! That's a great feeling Jen! I love the fact that this thread is pretty dead, we Brits we prefer to rant and rave :-p! lol! I'm trying to think of something good! Mmmmm I may possibly be going to watch a cool Cornish band on friday :D Also I'm on the art team for the uni magazine which is ace :D!

LOL, I agree, I haven't been able to think of anything to put in here :-p Thats quite bad really!
erm..........
I managed to find Greys Anatomy for £14.99 :D plus I won £50 at the weekend, thats two good anti ranting things, lol!
Also I'm on the art team for the uni magazine which is ace :D!
Really? Thats ace, Congrats (Y)

11th October 2006, 08:59 PM
Yup It's only for this term whilst in our news groups we make a magazine, the uni doesn't actually have an offical magazine which is released monthly or whatever, or at least I've never seen or heard about one (and being on the journalism course you'd think they'd tell us about one if there was!). This is a project we get marked on but we're working in teams in a 'proffessional' environment with editors, subs and art editors (which is where I come in!) etc, but the magazine will be enter into the PTC magazine awards which is kinda cool, i think it's like a college magazine awards things.
You won £50 where? That is so cool, I don't think I've ever won anything :(, or nothing worth while that I can remember! lol! And you spent part of it wisely on Greys Anatomy good choice :D!

My pub does this weekly gambling/betting thing to do with the lottery :-p and I got it right... it's healthy gambling and it's the first time I've ever won :D
PTC, what does that stand for :-p lol ?? It's cool that the magazine gets entered into awards

Good idea for a thread, it actually makes me think about what is good in my life. It's true, Brits are just like the stereotype....miserable gits!
Anyway, I'm going to a packaging event at the V & A next Wednesday and then on to a packaging fair. So should be cool, it's been a long time since I was last in London. No actually, it's been a long time since I've been out of Yeovil period lol.
It's also only a month till I go see Muse and officially become a whole year older. The latter not being so great....but MUSE!!! Wicked rad! Talking of music...I'm going to Reading Festival again next year too!! I think all English TA members should go...and we can make it an annual meeting up together thing. hehe. Food for thought at least...

I'm going to watch a cool Cornish band on Friday which will be good right next door to us, and we haven't been in the Pavilion where it is being held for a whole year I still don't know how we have managed to do that.
Also on Saturday going to my cousins as it is my cousins 21st birthday party and I haven't seen her in a year so will be good to catch up with her.

Yeah Mandi I'm happy. :D It was so cold yesterday that my bus had ice on the inside of the windows, and it had been running for a couple of hours already. i spent the last few days at my cousins house. i love it there, cable! lol. but, its good because he (my cousin) is like an older brother. his wife, therefore, is like an older sister and i FINALLY have someone to listen to me crap on! she's the only girl, youngest of three, two older brothers, and she craps on to me. we're friends, we're family. i told her, last night, that i think of her like an older sister. she just smiled and said "well, i guess i have an younger sister". its great, knowing that i can talk to her, and in return, she can talk to me. for once, i feel wanted.
