15.10 Burden of Proof

This was our first look at Phil's newest love Debbie Black here in Ontario. She's quite attractive so no wonder Phil was smitten by her. Good episode surrounding Oscar's incarceration.

I didn't think so Mike, on either score. The police were just too wilfully blind and inept on the Oscar Blaketon plot to be credible. It was, after all, a murder case, not petty larceny. (Though I must admit, I enjoyed the kewpie-doll who played the mistress.) And Debbie Black??? ... well, she's pretty enough, but she seemed a bit of a hard case ... not at all the type of woman, I'd like our Phil to marry.

Thought it was ironical that Peggy got all worked up over the possibility of having been sold a 'doped dog', when dog-doping was exactly what she herself was doing last week.

What goes around comes around I guess re Aunt Peggy. I tell you, when she gets the short end of the stick she can really go after you.

It appeared Debbie was using Phil. She said she wasn't a charity case but there's good ol Phil fixing her lock.
