Do You Wish You Could Be Like House? (Or are you!?)

I was just thinking, there are times when I admire House because he's the person who says what's on everybody's mind but nobody else dares to say...he's a very honest person, and he will never let anyone walk all over him, because he says what he thinks no matter who it hurts.

Do you wish you could be like that? Or maybe you are?

I wish sometimes that I could just said completely what was on my mind no matter the consequences, but I think many people hold back, I don't think I've really met anyone as open as House in real life. I don't think I'd quite want to be as entirely honest House or a may end up just as bitter, cuz well House isn't the most popular man on earth!

I'd say that most of the time I'm bluntly honest, though not quite as abrupt or refined as House lol. If I think something, I say it. Though in general I'm a nice...ish person and not bitter like him.

I am pretty happy with the way I am, although I do wish I was a little sharper like him. I know that is through good writing, but still. It'd be nice to have that amount of random wit about the place :D

I doubt there is anyone quite like House in this world lol.

if something is really bothering me, then i'll say something. but if i can ignore it i will, because there's no sense in giving the annoying thing the satisfaction of knowing its annoying, know what i mean?

i hate being told im wrong, when i know im right! i'll argue till im blue in the face, and then some more, if i know im right about something. though, i will listen to other people's oppionions and take them on board if im not 100% about something.

so, i guess in a way, im kinda like House. though, im not as bitter as him, i dont think...?

I also admire House - at times, he’s a excellent doctor but not a people person at all, if he was treating me, I’d probably not like him, Yeah I would be grateful he saved my life but I’m a overly sensitive person [anyway] so I wouldn’t be able to take him.

I do like how he says what everyone’s thinking… but there are nicer ways of going about it. Sometimes he’s just mean to be mean.

I wouldn’t like to be him at all, though if his nastiness was turned down a little I think he would be an alright person to be. - GSH/Not caring what others think/intelligent .

Saying that I wouldn’t change a thing about House.

I don't think I'm like House at all. I have the most difficult time trying to get something across, and at times I wish I was as direct as House. But on the other hand, the things he says are just rude and it seems like he has no regard for other people and their emotions. If anything, I think I'm more like Dr. Wilson than any of the other doctors - he's a bit of a pushover, but I'm easily swayed too.

However, I will admit that I love his personality on him. If there was nobody frank and hurtfully honest, many of his cases (if not all) of his cases would have been left unsolved. Sometimes, we just need a person who's not afraid to say what the rest of us think.
