Hiya,
I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to create captures of heartbeat? Ive tried doing it on my computer but it didn't work. I know Steve who has the brilliant screen captures site (which I can spend hours on just looking at the pics) will know what I am talking about.
Cheers

Which stage are you getting stuck at? I assume you have either a TV tuner card or adapter, and you can view TV on your computer monitor, yes? If so then the driver software which came with the card or adapter should have a screencap facility within the software. If you have that and you're using it but just getting blank pictures then you'll likely need to change the graphics hardware acceleration settings within Windows. If that's the problem I can tell you how to change it.
My preference these days is to ignore the screencaps feature which is built into my TV card software and instead use a standalone screen capture program, so if you're having problems with the screencaps feature then I can make some recommendations about which programs you might try instead.
More info would be helpful though - what exactly is the problem?

I am totally lost with most screen capture software but I want some easy program that I can take dvd screen captures. I want to be able to take screen captures from coppied dvds not live TV. I don't have any screen capture software so could you give me some idea's of what programs to install? I have tried to change the settings in windows media player so that the black screen does not appear but have been unsuccessful.
Thanks
Samantha

Cyberlink Power DVD. I have it somewhere :shifty: not quite sure where. If you don't have it or something similiar when I get a chance I'll try and dig it out for you.
