Wizard Rock

I occasionally (make that follow a few authors religiously) read Harry Potter fanfic and in particular Remus/Tonks. Well, a month or so ago somebody posted songs that reminded them of Remus/Tonks. Naturally I snagged them. I was listening to Lupin's Tale (yup should have been an indicator) at school yesterday and I couldn't believe how perfect it was, almost as if it had been written with them in mind, so I googled it when I got home and what did I discover existed? Wizard Rock.

This is music created by Harry Potter fans about the books and some of it predictably is not brilliant but some of it is really good. So far the only artists I like are Oliver Boyd and the Rememberalls (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=111612376) and Ministery of Magic (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=158059699).

So have any of you heard of Wizard Rock?

I've not, but I'm interested in having a listen and learning more about it. I'm always listening to music when I read fanfiction so of course when I listen to the song again it reminds me of that story. Anyway I'll have to have a listen and comment more then. I'm listening to Lupins Tale now, and so far it's quite good. I like it.
