Season 1 DVD

Fans of Grey's Anatomy will be thrilled to hear that Buena Vista Home Entertainment has plans to release the first season of the medical drama in the near future. The information comes from an advertisement that BVHE placed in the latest Video Business magazine. No other details were provided.

Okay, so I know this is like old news to hardcore Anatomy fans, especially ones that already have the DVD, but I felt like sharing it to those who don't know? I got a copy of it a 2 weeks ago & it's really good. There are 19 unaired scenes plus commentaries & behind the scenes. I absolutely adore it! *huggles it* So far, I've watched it 2x. I can officially quote the Pilot now. Yes, I know. I have no life. :frown:

Did anybody else buy a copy? What did you think of it?

Yea I bought it and I really love it seeing the episodes in one run without commercial/hiatus breaks was just what I needed and I really loved the Special Features too but I wished they would have had more commentaries than just two for one episode they should have really did one for the Season Finale instead of the Deleted Scenes from the Pilot :( but still a great buy and this should be owned by every GA fans :).

That's cool, I don't think it's out here in England yet *runs off to check on Amazon*, I haven't seen it in the shops. And I just checked both play.com and amazon and neither have it on their directory yet, so I guess that means it's gonna be a wait until it comes out here :(.

Amazon has it in their directory, but it only ships to U.S. & Canada. :frown: Err, I guess that didn't help much. I'll keep checking for you =)

i bought the DVD the day it came out, right after my classes. it was nice to refresh my memory on what went on in season 1...too bad they didn't have more commentaries and extra features, but what they had was awesome. i loved the little behind-the-scenes stuff :)

I think i have a multi-region DVD player or my parents do; thus meaning i can play American DVD's here in Ireland :D. Hopefully i can persuade my dad to get the DVD as he is a serious Grey's Anatomy fan himself :nod:.

I bought it the day after it came out and have watched it a dozen times! I love it! The special features were pretty good. Did you find the hidden feature? It's a little thing on this eskimo doll named Ipacac... On the second disc, go to Bonus Features. With the cursor on Main Menu, hit the "up" button on your remote once. Hit enter on the red cross. I've recently just purchased this, and this may be a strange question lol! But I was wondering anybody else who has this, did you get a little leaflet saying about the episodes and a brief description of them in there? Cuz normally you get these and well I didn't, so I was just wondering if maybe I'm missing it or they just decided not to do one which is a shame, as I like those lol! As Its good to jog your memory of the episode if your picking which one to watch.

Also I was wondeirng that if in the US you get 13 episodes on the season one dvd or just 9 (the offical season one!)? Just out of curiousity :-p!

Well, when I bought it I didn't get a leaflet with them on. Thats how I thought that all the episodes were season 1. Confusing much!

Are we confused over the seasons thing? Who's zooming now was the season 1 finale, Because the next ep said "Last Season on Grey's Anatomy" at the start.

Ah i can't seem to see this maybe its not on the region 2 discs? I tried this and it didn't work, anyone else? Mind you my dvd player is a right cheap one and its rather temperamental its never played the last disc of my desperate housewives ones, even though that disc works fine in other players, it's picky lol!

Does anyone know when the second season will come out on dvd? I've done some searches for it but can't find it yet.
